It's a lovely spot right on the Androscoggin. I was there with my dog friends very early in spring, and the water was very high and wild...not a place to let the dogs get too close!! You can carry in your kayak from the parking lot, but not an easy trail down. I want to revisit when the river is lower and safer. Very pretty and nice place for a picnic lunch.
There's a boat launch
This place leads you down by the river. With a good view.. A few short trails and a very peaceful environment. There is one picnic table near an old stone wall with a lawn and a couple of beautiful trees. Food place for a family picnic or get together. It is right off the main road.
